Many of the ravenous horde of Duterte supporters sings the tune of praise and worship to their eternally loved Tatay Digong simply for this seemingly much coveted US News and World Report Survey adding the Philippines in its list of best countries in the world.

However, there’s a catch. We’ve already been in that list for as early as 2016. And guess what? We’re TOP 33 and not 40 or 49 or even 50? We’re TOP 33 best country in the world!!

It took 3 years for Duterte to put the country many steps back and as our economy and sane society deteriorates so does our way of life and our dignity as Filipinos among nations.

How did the US News and World Report Survey came up with the rankings?

The study and model used to score and rank countries were developed by BAV Group and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, specifically professor David J. Reibstein, in consultation with U.S. News & World Report.

A set of 65 country attributes – terms that can be used to describe a country and that are also relevant to the success of a modern nation – were identified. Attributes by nation were presented in a survey of more than 20,000 people from across the globe. Participants assessed how closely they associated an attribute with a nation.

Each country was scored on each of the 65 country attributes based on a collection of individual survey responses. The more a country was perceived to exemplify a certain characteristic in relation to the average, the higher that country’s attribute score and vice versa. These scores were normalized to account for outliers and transformed into a scale that could be compared across the board.

Duterte continues to Duteriorates Philippine economy, societal norms, decency, morality and even spiritually. The country is slowly eroding its vibrant democratic community and reduced into a horde of fanatically blind Duterte supporters. Many has lost their wits just by the glimpse of Duterte. Some were even more happy to disown their religion or their faith if its means defending their beloved President.

Hope this clarifies things. So if you see a Dutertard bragging about the country being on the Top 50th. Slap him with the truth and tell him/her we’ve been dropped off our 33rd rank!!
